Haha.. Hello All.. I am alive.. Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I have not been making dialers recently. If anyone can even find this site since I lost me old domain, welcome to JPL4Design. Grabbed a new name since I was not fond of PaulyA. Well, I hope to be making some changes around here, mostly to showcase my other projescts such as photography and vector images. I will still have an area devoted to all of my old projects so for those of you still interested you'll have full access.. Well, I have to go now but wish me luck and check back to see if any of this actually happens..

I have just finished up a new quick little project for the Sirius Tuner Widget. I have uploaded it to the Projects section so anyone with a Sirius account be sure to check it out.. It is a great little app..
I hope to get back into some dialers but I've just been swamped recently, so keep an eye out soon..

OK.. I still have some cab files to build but most of the content is up on the site and the rest is mostly cosmetic.. Hope you all enjoy the new stuff and please check back for soon for new designs and layouts.... Thanks..

It is 12:22AM on the east coast and significant updates will be added to the site in the morning.. Looking at the site, one would think I have not been moving forward with the Eten skinning project although this is not the case.. I have tweaked the dialer and built new skins which I'll be customizing for requests. Fully personalized for anyone.. You want a picture of your children behind the translucent keys, or your favorite homescreen? Just ask and I'll hook it up. The new dialer will make the keys even larger and add a thumbnail size image for your "Last Call". The old skins will not work with the new dialer, however I'll be taking some of the popular old designs and rebuilding them to fit perfect, so if your still wanting those classic designs make sure you pick them up. Well, another month has gone by and still no new dialer. I have been a little put off by the compatibility issues with the new HTC Hermes/TyTn not including a video call button, but I guess it will still work with the Cingular 8525. I have also been trying to get into the code of the app and tweak it out a bit. Of course as I do this I realize none of the old skins will work with it so I'll have to start a new set of dialers. Just some thoughts. Tell me how you are all doing and if anyone has any job opportunities/ business ventures please feel free to share...

OK.. I quickly caught a mistake on the dialer pad.. When you enter the phone, you should see "S Dial" "History" and "Talk" not "End" so I updated the images, re zipped, and uploaded to the site.. If you still display "End" please empty your browser's cache and redownload.. Sorry about that. Thanks.

Ha..ha.. Another one for everyone to play with.. I'm not sure how I feel about it but I must admit it looks pretty dang sweet on my 8125. I want to play with some of the elements and color so please make some suggestions if you feel an itch for a tweak..
I have also updated the Portal with a few new links and anchor links to help navigate the list as it gets bigger. Is anyone using the portal? I would just like to know If I need to fill people in on updates or if I am just talking to myself.. :D
One more thing.. People have been asking for PocketWeather settings to enable weather maps on their today screen, so I posted all of my PW settings on the Weather Maps page..

It was recently brought to my attention that the Classics were missing a couple files.. If you were having issues with the back arrow being a different color and didn't already get the correct files from the french version, it is now fixed.. I have taken some time away from the site but I have not forgotten about my current unfinished designs. I still hope to release it soon, so sorry to those of you who where waiting patiently for it..

Just a fun little update for those of you using the Classics.. Key "1" now includes the O_O voicemail icon.. It was a request from hofo_mofo over at HowareForums and I liked it so much I just decided add it to all the Classic Skins.. So, Enjoy..

A few updates today.. All the Classics have been updated to display the correct arrow (erase button). Sorry about not getting to that earlier.. I thought it was only the Classic Grey that was flawed, but apparently this was not the case. PaulyA_Classic skins should be officially finished, I hope..
I have also removed the Thumb.db file from all the skins so now you wont be taking up space on your PPC with a useless system file...

Back from a crazy week and uploaded the French ETen Classic Skins to the site.. They come as a request, so for anyone waiting for those, Enjoy.. I have also been meaning to get a few other projects started and finished so in the next few days hopefully you'll see some production on the site.. (new Dialer and Themes.. Oh yes and tweaked Themes)

Vista is back up as a Zip file and now includes the History and Speed Dial icons.. I have also compiled a new E-Ten Dialer Install cab with Vista. So, if this is your first time installing the E-Ten Dialer, you will now have Vista as your default dialer.  Enjoy...

-I have added some themes today and updated Retro_W.. I gave it some better quality images, more customized system colors, and then gave it a friend named Retro_Wo, who sports orange instead of green.. Check those out..

-It was brought to my attention (Thank you Ravneet) that all of the Classic Alt. Skins were flawed. If any of you noticed opening your dialer and seeing the "End" button where the "Talk" button should be than you know what I'm talking about. The good news is that I have fixed the problem. They have all been updated and will now display correctly. Sorry about that.

- There are now two sets of BlackGlass. One with SmartDial support and one without. I think people were having issues with the new SmartDial bmps when using the normal E-Ten Dialer, so that should clear things up.
-I have also pointed out the link to the E-Ten Dialer With SmartDial Beta and, as I said above, posted a separate set of Black Glass for this version. The Beta is stable but you will have issues with it displaying correctly. I posted it only for people who want to contribute to the development of this version so we can hopefully get it running correctly in the near future. Do not install it unless you understand this.
- I have also made some headway with the blog using WordPress, so hopefully I can get that up and running as well.
Edit: I just don't get it..
